I’ll leave you to ponder where my name comes from.
I’m a mid-twenties student of constitutional politics, working in London, living an unextraordinary life by unextraordinary means in a rather extraordinary city.
I’m proud of my country but I’m prepared to criticise it when it lets me down and fails to set an example for others. I’m proud of our ancient constitution but I’m not dismissive of the lessons Britain can learn from our neighbours. I try to be as open-minded as possible and believe strongly in the right to free expression, even of views I find repugnant.
While conservative on constitutional affairs, I’m liberal on social matters and mildly left-wing on economics, but on the specifics I don’t profess to have much expertise.
I love reading, Doctor Who, punk music and the occasional pipe of tobacco.
